Some kind words I haven’t made up.
I met Damian in Australia and I immediately knew he was our kind of guy. Damo (I am waxing Australian for a moment) is an easy-going, lovable character who can actually write. (This is rare.) Writing: as in putting lots of words end to end and having the final product lead you happily and cheerily through things of great delight and complexity. Damian worked on all kinds of clients, including very large, important ones like Comcast and eBay, and he was always inspirational in his contributions.
Part of his secret is that he has an unstoppable sense of urbane humor that is never at others' expense and is always unforgettable to be around. Because of this, he was a favorite of clients and subordinates. He makes you want to come to work. You have to meet him.

I’m not sure there is a better creative presenter or performer than Damian Fitzgerald. He can sell any piece of work at any time to any client. He’s a master!

Managing Director, TBWA NY
Damian is one of my all-time favorite creative partners. Imagine being the client at a company that makes very dry business-to-business networking equipment and security software, and having a copywriter make sense of it and make you laugh at the same time. That's Damian. He wrote one of Cisco's most successful videos of all time, did it at a breakneck speed, and got the entire sales force up and applauding when we unveiled it. He's not only a talented guy who makes complex things simple, but he's one of the nicest and funniest people you'll have the pleasure of working with.
Julia Mee
Senior Director of Global Advertising, Cisco
I love you.

Please understand, first off, that it's hard to put into words the contagious optimism and general good naturedness that Damo brings to his workplace. It's a sick that's worth catching. Everyone on your team will catch it, including (well, especially) your clients. He's got an incredible charisma and positivity that - if you can't feel by now - I'm not sure you deserve to. In this jaded godforsaken industry, just being a human, flaws and all, capable of laughter and empathy, is so much of this thing.
Damian has an unbridled talent - sometimes teetering on the verge of outrageousness - that energizes creatives and left-brained team members alike. He's really quite talented. Equally smooth with a parameterized brief or a wide open one. He'll find a way to make it. Do you have chump change for a music budget or a half-day shoot with a baby? He's a creative problem-solver and he's not afraid of fires. Like big fires. Or fiery people. Trust me - I am one. I've not seen a creative person ever take constructive criticism as well as Damo does.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, we all know it bites to be on the talent market as a white straight cis-gender man. There isn't a human whiter than this one, too -- he burns quite badly. You wouldn't know it though, as his heart is truly pure gold and when he's building a team, he's looking out for young talent of color, and the underdogs and misfits most. He's an incredibly accommodating, ever empathetic, human-first leader with a true player/coach mentality.
This isn't BS. And if you can't tell, I've loved working with him. So much that I sought it out after my time at W+K, and chose working with him again and again when, quite frankly, other gigs were offering to pay better. Your team will get the absolute pleasure of having him as a teammate, like I have for so many years.

Damian can turn a phrase faster than doodle in a trumpeezle storm. I have no idea what this means but Damian probably does. His word skills are beyond and his arrangements of them constantly crack me up.

I love everything Damian writes. and I mean everything. emails, restroom graffiti, texts, big advertising ideas, smart scripts, et al. He's a great presenter, a thorough listener, and an optimistic and cheerful soul that anyone would want in their foxhole.

Kind words about Ghostpistols.
Our team went through rounds and rounds looking for a new agency to work with, and what started as a coffee forged an eye-opening pitchback that revolutionized how our team approaches creative problems. As the most creative talents in the room, Ghostpistols, not only make us laugh and cry—they truly understand our consumers and how to show up authentically. Even more important, they look at us as partners in crime rather than a business relationship.
Cale Mayer
Marketing Manager, Smith Optics
Ghostpistols have been nothing short of amazing! They remained extremely collaborative, understanding, tactical, strategic, creative and enjoyable to work with. Our relationship has just begun, but I am looking forward to unlocking our true potential as creative partners.

Ghostpistols is more than just a trusted agency partner to the Jordan Brand. They're also creative and thought partners, adding a layer of storytelling that complements our voice so well. The GP agency model is the ideal partnership for Brands that are known for a fast-paced environment. They can be nimble to support tight timelines and scale up to support Tier 1 multi-channel campaigns from end to end. You won't get this type of flexibility and modularity when you work with a larger or more traditional agency.
John Radaza
Projects Director, Jordan Brand
Ghostpistols is for brands looking for impactful, strategic creativity from a talented and collaborative agency…. It's refreshing to have an agency partner who pushes us to think differently and is willing to take big bets.

You guys were awesome. Ghostpistols is the new agency way.

Simply put, working with (or even being around) Damian is the best reminder of why you ever even got into this business. He embodies the fact that solving problems that are exceedingly hard can be a truly exciting and joyful experience. It's his innate creative thought, constant energy and genuine caring for not only every aspect of the work, but every aspect of people with whom you do it.
It's always satisfying to see a successful project come to a close, but what's more enticing is that it opens the opportunity to kick off something new with Damian again, which I hope to do many times over and highly recommend you do the same.
If you're in need of some of the most talented and proven creative minds in the business make sure Damian and the entire Ghostpistols crew is your first (and likely only) stop.
